well occasionally when im on a spirited drive(5th gear 4k+) with my 92vx with b18b it does something weird. ill be on the throttle(wot or holding speed) and it will all of a sudden act like fuel is being cut. even if i floor it the revs will start to drop and i either have to wait for the revs to go down to almost idle or put it in neutral and let it drop more quickly than leaving it in gear before i can accelerate again. what could that be.

and im still having the studdering problem when my o2 is plugged in(replaced fuel pump with 94 teg pump and that didnt fix it). when unplugged it just throws the o2 cel and doesnt studder at all.

also, my speedo doesnt work(except occasionally it will say im doing 100 plus at 30mph and just bounce around. i broke the center copper pin off the vss so i replaced it with the one with my 92vx one but it still doesnt work. throwing vss cel too.

The problem is due to your faulty VSS. I would suggest replacing it with the correct VSS. The D series one I don't think works with the B tranny. Once your VSS is operating correctly (no more VSS CEL) the problem will go away.

Not sure about the stuttering problem though.

the vss and studdering came out of nowhere( after the initial cleaning of the vss which weakened the little pin) one day while at work in the rain. started happening at the same time.

If a pin broke replce the sensor. i just wen trhough this. It could be the connecter. Check and make sure the little wires are still in the plug. i had a problem beacuse I pulled the plug by the wires so they started to come out.

Just to clarify, the first problem you described, where the engine would lose fuel and not accelerate (even with WOT) while at highway speeds or so until you let the revs fall.... that is because the VSS is not working and will go away when it works. This is not the same as a general stuttering though, but I suppose it could be related.

nice to know about the fuel cut thingy. are the ecus speed limited? and does anyone else have any help with my other Qs?

When it happened to me it was intermittent... I'd just be cruiseing a steady 75 and it would cut out. Not sure what the logic is behind it though, some ecus OEM JDM (some) are speed limited.
