Default stock sleeves.....blockgaurd..yes or no

Doy ou recommend a block gaurd for my application. b16. Je 9:1, eagle rods. T60-1 (t3) looking for 400 whp max on race gas. Hondata stage 2b tuned by gruvytune. Thanks guys

It's a toss up...

The issue comes down to that the blockguard may distort the sleeve alignment once tapped in.

Yes. They do work. Just make sure you put it in right. About 1/4 down. Make sure its not too much of a tight fit.

if you do put them in, hone cylinders after blockguard is installed.

Your block wont cool as efficiently with it. I think the general consensus is that they do more harm than good
