Default Sites Racing Splitter and Undertray for 98-01 Integras

Racing Splitter and Undertray for the 98-01 Integra.

Finally, after months of R&D and procrastination, I am ready to begin selling the Sites Racing Splitter and Undertray. The total cost for both the lip and undertray is $415 USD. If you wish to purchase them separately, the lip is $300 and the undertray is $100 – if purchased separately, they will NOT come assembled. Either way, there is NO mounting kit included (for an example of mounting, see below). Shipping is extra.

Specs
-------
The splitter and undertray were designed with racing and lapping-days in mind. Those of you whom participate in road racing and/or lapping events know what can happen during an “off-track” excursion. That said, the pieces were designed to be incredibly strong, yet inexpensive enough to replace if an incident occurred. The lip itself is constructed of fiberglass and is incredibly strong, while the undertray is made of ¼” ABS, which is flex-able yet firm enough to withstand pressures exerted at high-speed.

Here is a link to a thread posted by Glen Kawano, our sponsored driver with his impression of the Splitter and Undertray during a TCRA race at Willow Springs.

Below are some pictures of the pieces mounted with 8 Dzus fasteners, allowing for an installation and removal time of about 45 seconds.

Ordering
-----------

All Sites Racing Splitters are made to order, with an approximate turnaround time of 2-3 weeks once money is received. This time may fluctuate depending on the volume of orders at the time. And remember, the Sites Racing Splitters are intended for OFF ROAD USE ONLY.

I accept Visa, Mastercard, check and money orders – personal checks will take at least 5 buisiness days to clear before the order is processed.

If you are interested in a purchase or have questions about shipping costs, please contact me at asites1@san.rr.com – expect a response time of no more than 24 hours.

For information about the brake ducts, please contact Mark Johnson at imhuge@juno.com

Thanks,
Andy

Can you get a picture with the car on the ground. The SCCA crowd will probably be interested in the pavement-to-splitter height.

Looks real nice. Can you work on a Integra G2 model?

Sweeeet ! Just what I've been looking for ... except I drive a '97 RS! Doh! Do you plan on fabricating a lip for a Integras prior to 1998?

Is any modifications needed to the bumper cover (other than drilling holes) to mount the the Duz fasteners? Extra reinforcement glued in? Is the splitter/undertray attached/bolted to anything other than the lip?

I've been wondering how to mount a lip & splitter on my daily driver for track days. Now I'm inspired ...

Thanks in advance for any help that can be provided.
Thomas

There are no plans to make one for the 94-97 models. The lip is incredibly strong, that is why I mount the undertray directly to it.

HAHA, he said strong and fiberglass in the same sentence. True, for track use, it'd be fine, but polyurethane is the material of choice when making durable bodywork. The good thing about fiberglass though, is it is repairable.

I was referring to it's strength structurally -- it was much stronger and more rigid than an earlier carbon-kevlar version that I had.

BTW, I haven't seen too many race cars running polyurethane aero-dynamic pieces. Unless you are referring to "suburban" race cars
