However, I can not keep two race cars due to storage issues. I'm a bit broken up about selling her but she must go........ after VIR!

1987 Civic Si- Black H5 #88
Texas car with only 110k on chassis. Zero rust.
Never been wrecked.
SCCA & NASA Log Books

Fresh OPM / sunbelt engine- professionally built.
OPM IT spec race head
new pistons, bearings, seals, gaskets,T-belt, Alt, battery...... Etc.
Matched and blueprinted injectors
OPM/ puckett ceramic coated header.
OPM Air-intake

OPM basic IT suspension. Tokicos, coil-overs, t-bars, S-T swaybars.

Complete new braking system. Master, steel lines, tons of pads and rotors. Everything was replaced OEM new.

Custom Auto-power cage. Bolted and welded. Cobra race seat with brace.

4- Revolution 13x7 lite weight race wheels with Hoosiers. 225/50/13
4- Honda Alum 13" wheels with rains.
Sparco steering wheel
2- complete Air-dams and splitters.
Hardwired Transponder
ETC............. Long list of other stuff when future buyers want to know.


This car has NO DNF's.

Very dependable and fast. Very consistant/ well sorted...... the car is about the same on first lap as well as the last lap. Don't turn wrenches... go race.

Great way to start your W-2-W racing with out distroying your street car. The car is lite on tires and brakes and needs only oil changes between races. Pads last 6-8 races and tires the same.

CMP- 2:00.4 ( the car is faster there- I just suck at CMP)

This car should be raced next year by someone. I can work on the price a bit by removing an item or two but please no low ball offers. I'm not needing to sell for new ride, just to free up space.

Thanks to Scott & Karl as well as Chris C. ( Va region NASA) Grumpy and the rest of the folks that made the H-C possible.

With out the ECHC, this car like other Honda/ Acuras would be left to race ITA.

Richards 1gen Teg and this 12 value Si, are hopelessly classified in IT SCCA.
NASA has given these great little race cars a NEW LIFE!!!!!!!!!!

They are competitive again and classified correctly!

It is a fully built race car. If you can't afford to get everything you need then wait. You are asking for trouble if you don't. All it takes is one mistake and you are stuck 8 hours from home with no way of getting you and your bent car back. It is one thing to build a race car out of a street car and drive it during the conversion process but to take a fully-built race car and try to make it streetable is absurd. The motor is not built to withstand everyday driving. The suspension is way too stiff and prolonged street driving could not only damage the car but also your back. Plus - it will probably cost you approximately the amount of a trailer to get it street legal. Trailers can be purchased used for under $1000 (I paid $700 for my 18' tandem axle w/brakes).

John - You may here from me regarding this since I am out a car and I like yours.

This is the cleanest car in our field, you can eat off any part of her....No kidding.

The first time i saw this car i swore it was off the show room floor.
