Mounting a short ram intake
i had the same problem, i just wrapped the a/c pipe in thick foam and tied it with zip ties, and let the intake pipe rest against it. i used the bracket supplied but it doesnt hold the intake pipe far away enough so as not to rub the ac lines

Do you have a strut tower brace? If so, then maybe you could be ghetto and zip tie the intake to the bar. That would hold the intake pipe up enough. But whatever works works.
It's a Ractive pipe.
thats probably why..anyway back in the day when I had a short ram intake..it never hit the A/C line.. there was a bracket and rubber washers and it didn't rub the A/C line.. maybe try zip tyying it to something like the strut tower bar then putting some insulation or barrier so it rubs that instead of the A/C line...
Im not even sure why it would hit the AC lines in the first place..maybe im just not undestanding your situation.
When i hear people say RAM this is what i see (Brets Car)

i think what he means is that its a short pipe/short stack intake system where the filter & intake pipe sits under the hood in the engine bay... its not a CAI or a RAM air system
Right i know but what confussed me was the part when he talked about the ac lines.... Are you talking about the heater hose?
I have the same problem... but I am going to upgrade to either an AEM or Injen polished short ram. Does Injen make mounting brackets for their intakes that allow it to bolt right in>? If not, are there any others that are recommended for a good fit?
