Default Let's talk about Spark Plugs

Specifically replacement ones. I have 26k on my car, and don't want to use the stock plugs for the full recommended service interval.

Well, after my initial sticker shock of Kragen wanting $19 each, and Pep Boys $25 Each. Carland Acura has them for $12.92 each. This is everyones favorite NGK PFR6G-13. Laser Tip Platinum. (B18C1 and C5 use the same stock plug correct?)

Through many of the other spark plug threads, some people like copper, some like platinum, some people change their plugs often, others don't. I want to change mine often, but I'm not sure if I'll be happy with a copper substitute. Any new storys about running the coppers as opposed to the Platinums? What is the proper NGK copper plug to use?

Thanks for any input.

So, sgT, how often do you change your plugs, even though they're the fine 'laser' tip platinum? I figure 2 Years, 26k is about time for me...

Wow, You must spend a lot of money on Spark Plugs. But I guess, as you said in an earlier post, you don't wait till your brakes are on the backing pad before replacing them! And I can't say much, cause I change my synthetic oil every 3k...
