GOt to see them on the track this weekend and I have to say they look to be a great tire. Going to compete with the Azenis and have better water moving ability.

I am really readyt o hear some personal reviews of the Kumho MX and the Yoko ES100 . . . !

 

are they even out yet?

everywhere I looked seemed to be on backorder so I just guessed they werent out quite yet

out for our cars and $84 in a 205/50/15. Not checked availability. I have a set of New SP9k's I got for free with only 4,000 miles on them so far.

 

If you do a search in the comp forum, someone posted some text from a Kumho rep. about if Kumho wanted to compete with the Azenis, the would need to add more tread to their Victorracer V700 because the MX won't be on the same level.

You'd propbably be better off with the Azenis, BFG KD (KDW), or the S03.

 

I'm interested in hearing about the Yoko ES100.... anybody have this tire?

If they move water better then the azenis, they could be a great street tire/daily driven tire.

Hmmm...which one is the best value?

 

i'd hardly consider azenis and V700's level ground. From what I saw the MX is going to be close. If it moves water better then it is the perfect comprosmise for street/auto-x for those not running dedicated wheels/tires.

I suspect they will be as good as the S03 and almost as good as the Azenis. I was really impressed from what I say at the auto-x this weekend.

oh and sorry to go OT here... I'm interested in the MX too, but just saw on Tirerack that they were back ordered.
