better tire
i was looking at getting a set of azenis 205 50 15 and i hear they are the best tire for the $ but i have never drivin on a set.
i also hear they are really heavy.
how do the azenis compare to the Toyo Proxes T1-S
i was looking at maybe getting a set of those in 205 45 15 and dont know what would be better.
or 3rd choice would be the advan a032r in 205 50 15

What are you looking to do with these tires?
If you're going to do street driving only, then Azenis and A032R are overkill. However between these two, if you live in an area with a lot of rain, the A032R would be a better choice than Azenis - but if wet traction isn't a concern, remember that the Azenis have more dry grip. I can't comment on the T1-S because I've never used them.
Have you considered Kumho Ecsta MX in 205/50-15? The dry grip approaches that of the Azenis (still not quite as good though), but they have excellent wet traction.

Re: (drunknbass)
If it doesn't rain there, then you might as well go all out and get the Azenis. They are definitely the best street tire for the money as far as dry grip is concerned.
Just be aware that the Azenis have stiff sidewalls for cornering stability, which doesn't help at all for launches . . . if you have an older car with worn out suspension bushings and motor mounts, you'll get a lot of violent wheel hop.
And please, keep it safe and off the streets . . .

I just happen to have a set of each on 14" rims. lol. I prefer the Toyos for daily driving and have used them for the last 200K miles (I have Yokohama snows for the winter months). The Toyos are made from a harder compound so the treads should last longer than the softer Azenis.
I use my Azenis only for autocrossing and they are truly great for that. But they are heavy tires and very noisy... especially when my car is decelerating. I have been told that Azenis are prone to hydroplaning in heavy rain. A few times after events, I was too tired to swap my tires, and hated the two hour drive home in the Falkens.
A word of caution about the Azenis for daily use... one of my friends loved his set, and I think relied on their grippiness too much. He rolled his car while driving near his house. He took a turn too aggressively and wasn't expecting a sandy spot on the pavement. So if you go with the Falkens, don't get too cocky driving with them. Please.
