Default HELP asap! how'd you guys get the bolt in for the drag manifolds?

all the bolts go into the manifold fine, but the bottom center one is really close to the tubes on the manifold, and i cant get the bolt through to bolt down the manifold. what did you guys do?

You unbolt everything. Then you act like you are putting the manifold on but before the stud goes through the manifold completely, you place the nut and hold it there. Then slightly push and thread and you will start to thread the nut on the stud. Keep moving closer and thread the nut at the same time.

Assuming you removed the stud from the far left and placed it in the middle.

Good Luck and play with it a little you'll know what I'm trying to describe.

I actually shaved the bolt's head a little to get it to fit.

but the one that i cannot seem to get going isnt the two studs on each side. im talking about the dead center one on the bottom. that requires a bolt, and everything is closed here so i cant go and find a matching nut and stud. its just that the bolt itself cant get into the hole cuz the tubes are in the way.

the old heads had all studs + nuts

the new heads have 2 outer studs and the rest are bolts

If I were you, I'd replace all those dumb bolts with studs, makes things 10x easier
