i just isntalled my VAFC last night... and got to test it today. however when i was gunning it, 4500 came (i have a GSR) and no VTEC. i was a little worried until 5800 hit and i heard the familiar sound. so i realized that the VAFC was (by default) on type R stock settings. what i need to know is:
1. lo-hi VTEC stock for GSR (i'm assuming 4500)
2. hi-lo VTEC stock for GSR (no idea about this, 4400 maybe?)

and any GSR owners that have VAFCs, any other settings i should be looking out for to change to other values... thanks!

to my knowledge the b18c1 opens up vtec at 4400 rpms. so hi-->low would be 4300. you were on the right track.

 

Yep just 100rpm off So yeah it would be like this.
1. 4400
2. 4300

 

....actually, if you unplug the vafc and plug it back in your stock settings should reappear in the vafc after you hit initialize.
