So i have been reading around on posts involving clutch issues and i have seen people with similar problems, but not quite exactally what i am going through. Basically what is happening on my 99' gs, is my clutch is starting to have engaging inconsistancies. It started a month or two ago, and upon inspections, it apeared that my fluid was filthy. I flushed my system and cleaned out the reservoir, which seemed to solve the problem for one night, then the problem reappeared. I went over my hydro system again, removed the master, thoroughly cleaned it and the reservoir, reinstalled and flushed the system. This time, everything seemed to be running properly, the clutch was engaging correctly and i could smoothly shift from gear to gear without issue. Later that night, while testing further, I banged from 1st to 2nd, then the problem came back again. When I mentioned inconsistancies, i meant my clutch grabs fine one moment, then i have to pump the hell out of it the next moment just to get it into gear. It was at first only a problem in high RPMs ( above 3,500) then it became worse in any rpm range. The clutch doesn't make any weird noises, so I figured it can't be the barring, or a spring. I have since replaced the master cylinder, and once again the problem was gone, until i put it through its paces during testing. I at one point thought that the dirt in the system was causing some weird blow by in the system ( internally in the master) and I have always been under the impression that when your slave goes out, it usually leaks. The slave seems fine but i am going to replace it tonight ( figure if I am going to have to dig further i might as well get some new parts in anyway). The clutch seems to have a good year in it, I have not had any slipping issues there. Anyone have any idea what might be going on? Maybe similar ghosts in the clutch system on these integ's?
