ok its a 98+ the window doesnt open and close...also the trunk doesnt open up either. whats the first thing to check?

 

The trunk doesn't open as in.. Its locked? Or it doesn't stay up? Or what.

If it doesn't stay up you need to struts.

Power Window? First check your fuse. Then check connection to the motor. If that is all ok you need a new motor for the window

the window i switched motors and it seems like the motor is fine...ill have to check the wires then. anything else?

 

Try your key in. I'm not sure if these cars have a seperate key for the hatch/trunk. When I got mine the previous owner shaved the key hole in the trunk and took out the lock. If you hit the hatch release and it still doesn't open it might just be stuck, or the actual release is messed up. Could be the cable

 

ok the trunk works now but the window aint working...wire seems fine. anything else? drivers side is ok but passenger isnt working
