Stock belt for stock parts. Nothing better than OEM baby

I think it would be wise to upgrade your belt (to PE) if you have any significant gains in horsepower/torque with f/i or n/a.

There is NO point to putting a PE or any other Stronger belt in your car Unless you have Toda B's or C's or another High lift cam.

Go buy 2 OEM belts for the price of a PE and save your money.

How much are the OEM belts? I myself never bought one. But PE belts are cheap their only $10 in Japan.. plus about 5-6 bucks for shipping.

I'll take 100 belts for the $10 each if they were that price. I was in Japan a couple of months ago and I didn't see PE Timing belts for $10 each.

Well thats what I was offered for them from supplier in Japan..basically 100 belts for 10 bucks a pop.
I never took the deal because I didn't think anyone here would buy them.

Sortof of like when Spoon cleared out their valve covers and sold them all to friend of friend in Japan for what I remember was about 50 bucks a pop.

Anytime in Japan if you can can buy multiple items you can normally get big or small discount atleast I have in the past.
But most folks don't as they normally only buy one of each. Plus, not everyone sells items at the same price. I know Hamp filters vary in price depending where you buy them. Normally big city big price..more out of the way places tend to sell for alot less and can also haggle if your buying good many items.

You gotta respect a guy who tells you NOT to buy something from him
