Default Cold Air using stock intake box??

Anyone do this somehow by taking the resonator off and running a tube below the factory intake box?

I just busted open the resonator and took out the tube that runs through it and reattached it to the filter box instead of the dryer tube method.

exactly what I did. don't know if it netted any gains, I still have as of yet to take it to the dyno and do a lid on vs lid off compairison.

maybe when I get a job...

You can make you own DIY "Icebox" by removing the resonator and replacing it will intake tubing which draws cold air from behind the passenger corner lense just the Comptech Icebox. You can go to my webpage at http://www.geocities.com/bretq/DIY_Icebox_CAI.html for information on making the "Icebox".

Here are a couple pictures.
