Need some opnions...
Going to drag-strip tonight. I just wanna be sure about a few things...
My drag slicks are toast, so i cant use them anymore...
I have 195/55/15 Yokohama es100 tires. What Psi should i run at? is 10lbs ok?
Should i run them Cold? or heat'em up in the pit?
Also im mixing up some xylene. I want to make 2.5 gal of gas. how much xylene and tranny fluid should i use? any advise hear would be great, this is the first time making my own gas. Ill also be shooting a 75 shot, is oxygenating gonna be a problem?

If i were you i would heat the tires up, and set the psi around 20-25. I'm no drag race guru either, so take my advice with a grain of salt. Also about the gas mixture, I have no freakin clue. I didn't know tranny fluid was ignitable. Why not just buy some race gas?
It would help if you told us what kind of car and engine you have
Regardless, don't lower the pressure in your street tires below about 18 or you'll risk blowing them.
Also, if you feel the need to use homemade "race gas" use 93 octane mixed 2/3 - 1/3 with xylene. Don't use transmission fluid - that's just dumb. Yes, it burns, but it's terrible for your fuel system and doesn't have a high octane rating, so I'm not sure why you would use it.
Like I said, give us more info if you want a helpful reply.

tizz a h22a4 EJ, see sig.
I was told to use like 2 oz of tranny fluid as a lubricant.
Im a budget guy, school is expensive. so i gotta make my own fuel.
i can only get 91 octane. so can i just dump the whole gallon of xylene in my tank and mix 3 more gal of 91 with it?
kk, so ill air down to 18lbs. should i heat them up b4 use?

If you're not boosted, running higher octane isn't going to do jack **** for performance. Higher octane allows you to advance timing and run more boost without fear of detonation. Since you won't be changing cylinder pressure or timing at all, it's a waste of time, money and effort. Your car will run 100% the same on 91 as it will on a 103 mixture if it's built for 91 - which it is.
"Budget guys" should know more about cars if they plan to save money.
