Default How do these compare to Koni yellows?

at shox.com, for a 96-00 Civic they got:
Koni Sport $565.60
Bilstein 96+ $429.00
KYB AGX $339.00

Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldnt find any info on it. How do the Bilsteins and AGX compare to the Koni Sports?? They're soooo much cheaper and I'm on a pretty tight budget, but i still want good performance. Help? TIA

If you're just doing mostly street driving with occasional autocross or track events, I'd go for the KYB AGXs. I had them with ground controls on my 4dr GS-R, and it was a great setup for the price. I'm sure they'd also work fine with your average lowering springs.

Hmm mostly street driving and occasional weekend racing seems to be the boat I'm in. Thanks for the info. Anyone else?

koni and bilstein will take higher spring rates and are better shocks in my opinion. i have personally had koni yellows and agx and the konis are WELL worth the extra $

edit: btw thats a high price for yellows. ive seen em go for 500 even and i got a special version from neuspeed for 550 shipped

A guy I see at autocrosses sometimes that works at a suspension tuning shop said they had some AGX on a shock dyno, and for fast/hard compression they tested the same at every adjustment point. He said the adjustment only effects low speed/light compression. FWIW.

Thanks guys. I'm sorta leaning toward the Bilstein's. If I could find Koni's for a super good deal, then I'll take em. Anybody know a good place?
