hi, can someone explain to me, or show me pictures, on how to remove the door panel on a 98 civic ex? when i look around the door, theres nothing to unscrew. and when i take off the screw in the holder thing on the armrest, and i try to pull, i end up yanking the power window controls off, which leaves me kind of stuck. any help would be appreciated, thanks.

 

First, take off the door cup (the part you already got the screw out of).

Then, pop your speaker cover off, remove your speaker, and remove the screws behind it.

Third, pull your door handle, and undo the screw behind it.

Then, start pulling your door panel away at the edges. Lift it up off the door frame.

Done.

 

Oh, and if yu have manual windows you'll need to get the C-clip out of the window crank.

Skill with a pocket knife or something with a tiny hook will get that out.

Or, the proper tool for it.
