97 civic ex, b16a going in.
ok quick question..i've tried researching this but can't find a definite yes or no.
- when putting a b series motor into a 97 civic, can you get away with using factory mounts? people have told me you can use the bracket on the drivers side off the motor, put it on the bseries and use the factory mount. then the tranny mount is the same, and all i need is a 99-00 civic si rear mount...this correct?

you need a B mount for the drivers
also need the tranny mount
also need the SI rear mount
you should be good and dont forget the jumper harness for the ecu

ok...clarify that for me . . use the b series bracket on the motor, and mount that to the oil filled mount off the civic? im trying to find an easy way to explain this..the driver side mount has two peices - the bracket on the motor, and the mount on the car. can i use the motor bracket off the d-series stock motor, and bolt that to the b16, then bolt that to the oil filled stock mount on the civic. i just don't really want to run hasport mounts, im trying to keep stock mounts in. So if all i need to buy is the rear si mount, thats only $100.00 from honda.
