ok guys i need your opinion. i have a 94 ls 5sd teg with a short ram aem intake
skunk 2 cat back exhaust. i just ordered a hi flow meaning racing cat and 4 2 1 megan racing header. do you guys think i will be alright performance wise and sound please give ya honest opinion it really matters. if most say no i will turn around and sell the parts to someone thanks

i have past experience with 4-1 megan header and i didn't like it, it broke just 2 weeks later, i ditched it and got something better, i bought mine for 180

you would feel little gains, i would suggest to ditch the cat, get a test pipe

you should search, i found 23 topics about megan headers

 

i seen one topic but i could not find any more please keep in mind i new so sorry.
if you don't mind me asking how did you break it and where on the header

 

the ground clearance sucks ***
but then again it was a 4-1. the material is kinda too thin
it broke in 2 places because of the ground clearance

but in your case, i think you should be ok i guess

 

i hope so i mean i still riding stock height but im planning to do a 1.3 inch drop.
i should still clear. how do you think it will sound

 

with the header and a test pipe it would sound pretty mean, but the header wont change the sound of your car, maybe just a little bit but not enough to actually hear it

the preformance would be a little better with 4-1 but i heard that the 4-1 is better for vtec.
