Default car start and die while acceleration and idle.

here is it, this is the day, my 01 civic finally break down after 190k mi, i suspect it to be either the fuel filter or the injection system. tomorrow i'm getting it tow to the mechanic to scan out the code to make sure.
my car symtom is this, once i start it, it will start and maintain normal idle, but will die off in a few minutes. and won't start again. then after half an hour and i start it again, it goes back alive and die off in a few minutes, and during hill climb, the engine just die off unless i give it more throttle. oh well, i'll just tow it to the mech tomorrow to have it check out. will let you guys know what happen.

sounds normal with a car that has almost 200k, but i know it still has lots more life left in it. i would recomend a complete tune up. check your fuel injectors, filters, plugs, hoses, etc.

do u know if its leaking any oil or coolant?

I'd put my money on fuel delivery. Check the line before and after the fuel filter, if the filter is clogged, you will see stretch marks on the hose coming from the tank. Youre describing a classic filter or pump dying senario.

alrite, here is an update, brought my car to the mechanic, barely reaching there, and scan the code to be TDC sensor malfunction, there is no code for fuel injection or fuel pump. tested pump pressure, ok!~ so there won't be any problem with the fuel filter as well, now i'm bump.. checked the service manual for troubleshooting, and TDC sensor would not have cause the symtoms that i experienced. now debating whether to change the TDC sensor and find out the hard way/
