i changed the valve cover gasket yesterday and when i start my car it usually sounds a little bit rough for a secound. not sputtering but maybe something valve related its hard to hear because i bought it with a loud exhaust. but after i changed the gasket it sounds worse, i also lost one of the gromits for the nuts on the valve cover. nobody has them for the next three days and can only get them in a set of 7 for $26.95.

i stuck my ear next to my distributer and it almost sounds like something rattling inside, also can it hurt the car if i drive without the gromit on say the back left valve cover bolt?
