Default how to install tach

i want to kno how to install a tach on my coupe with ls swap step by step instructions would be greatly appreciated. thanx

The only wires that you'll have to hook up are:

1.) ignition power source
2.) ground
3.) illumination wire (if there is a backlight)
4.) tach signal wire (found either at the ECU or at the distributor. I believe it is green).

If I locate the exact position of the tach signal, I'll post it. All the other wires can be tapped into at the fuse panel under the dash.

If you look at the driverside firewall in the engine bay you'll see a plug that is there that isnt plugged into anything. Thats one of the tach signal wires. I used that one. You have to clip both loops on the tach as well I believe. The rest is just ignition, ground, and illumination (you can tap into your parking lamp for this)
