another water leak
k so i have a 94 teg and it leaks water in the trunk. I read up and someone said it is a sunroof drain tube or something like that. Does anyone know where that is locatedand also couldnt it be the taillight gaskets?
heard it could be the tail light gaskets ?idk i have the same problem as many tegs do and mine needs to get fixed real soon.best thing to do it hose ur car down and hit all the seams and try n find the leak that way

Do this: take a taillight off your car, fill your bathtub with water and then stick the taillight in, lens facing up. If you see lots of bubbles coming out around the top edge of the lens, then that's where your water is coming in. That's what happened on mine, I just applied some sealant along the top edge of the red lens and that fixed it right up.

Those come down behind the trim panels on each side, behind where the rear shocks mount on top. Pull the trim panel away and look and you'll see tubes that should go into rubber fittings that drain outside the car. If the tubes are in place on each side then I doubt that is the problem.
Most likely it's either the taillight gasket, or the taillight lens itself.

Yo I'm having the same Problem as well... I just recently bought a 98 GSR and After a couple of rainy days passing and the car sitting I was getting the same Fog in all the windows in the car.
I pulled out all of the rear carpet, seats and trimmings and discovered what most integra owners do... A kiddy pool of water.
I drilled two tiny hols so the water would not collect until I can find the cause.
I thought it was worse because the rear carpet and seats were soaked, My friend told me they were when he sat back there and I had to see whats the deal.
If you drive your car with the water back there and don't know. You will be creating water flow when you brake and the water will spill out for the spare tire well and flow to under the rear seats and if its a lot of water it can flow to the front of the car as well because the carpet will only soak so much.
I'm bout to take PatrickGSR94's suggestion and give it a try because I see some water in the tailights and think its part of the problem.
I'm also gonna make a rubber seal that can be sealed above the taillight so it will make the water flow outside of the taillight lens instead of behind which I think is what is causing the leak.
People have suggested just caulking the Tailight and I thinks thats not a good Idea. I use to do roof work and Diverting water is a main concern in this field and if a rubber seal was some how glues above the taillight gap so it can channel the water to the outside of the taillight it should do the job if thats the only place leaking...
The idea is in my head but if I can somehow pull this off then I will post a little write up on it..

I just discovered this page and I am comforted by it. I guess that this is common. I have a 2000 Integra and I first discovered that the floor mat under my front passenger seat was soaked! I searched all over the internet and found plenty of stories about the sunroof ducts being clogged. I was expecting to have to take off the interior roof liner and go from there. LUCKILY, by accident, I discovered my tail light was near filled with water. I told myself that I would spread the word to anyone who would listen: "Check your Tail lights FIRST"! Shop Vacs work great for vaccuming up that inch of water in the trunk!
Thanks for listening!
