Default headgasket replacement

I have a blown headgasket in my d16a6. What do I need to take off when replacing it. Do I take the injectors out? Or can they say in? Do I have to take the intake manifold off or can it come out with the head. Any information is useful. Thanks

-Kyle.

Getting the book for your car is worth every penny, none of those need removed. remove every connection thats plugged into anything on the head. theres a few hoses, gas line , then under neath the manifold is a support bracket, Gl

If you're lucky like me you dont have AC / PS or any of the original brackets bracing anything to anything....

Disconnect battery
Drain oil
drain coolant
Disconnect intake
disconnect vacuum lines
relieve fuel pressure
disconnect fuel connections at rail (return + feed)
Remove header
unplug all electrical connections to head / distributor / intake manifold
loosen timing belt
remove valve cover
untorque bolts in proper sequence

<-- all from memory

Cylinder Head Bolts First Step All 10 bolts 20 N.m 14 ft.lb
Second Step All 10 bolts 49 N.m 36 ft.lb
Third Step All 10 bolts 67 N.m 49 ft.lb
Fourth Step Bolts 1&2 67 N.m 49 ft.lb

there is also a torque pattern you need to follow...but I cant find a pic to show you...always start from the inside bolts and work ina circle outwards...
