i'm pretty sure that setup would be fun as hell on your car...quick spool, quick response and great potential for power....i say do it!

yeah, all i need is around 300 to the wheels since itll be a daily street car. i want to be able to floor it and get sucked into the seat at any rpm. im not a dyno manwhore so i dont need the high hp so other guys can suck my dick.

so yeah, back to the post. any first hand gt28rs stag1 fullrace kits out there on a type r?

My old setup, I can't find the dyno file, so I'm just going to look you to the thread on Jeff's site. It's really a great setup for a street car, instantaneous power and torque, in-and-out of boost response is awesome.

will that graph shift to the left if its used on a itr instead of a gsr?

i dont want to wait until boost for power. i like to start pulling as soon as i step on it with my R.

You'll gain a bit of power from the cams, as well as youll make a bit more power under the curve due to the compression.

Trust me, you won't be waiting at all for boost. That's part of the reason I stepped to the 30r, the 28RS almost spooled too quick for me, lol.

I didn't have the FR kit, but here's a GT28RS on my old B16:

The clutch was slipping towards the top of the graph, that's why it gets so crappy and the power falls off. Later I replaced the clutch and made 380 on it. RLZ built the motor, Lovefab made the manifold and JDogg did the tuning. It was a fun little setup, and a GT28RS is still my favorite street turbo.
