is the coolent fogy? open your oil cap and look at the oil cap and see if it looks creamy it might be the very begining stage of gasket problems but i might be wrong hopfully but thats the only thing i can think of

Re: (lakai_19)
yupe i covered my turbo, dizzy cap, ext coil, cdi ignition even the battery
all covered with plastic bags
i just went for a drive giving it hell, car pulls hard still
and from personal experience if i had a blown headgasket the water in the resevoir bottle should be all the way full right ??
but i just checked, it stays the same

check your oil return line. mine used to do the same thing. when i first started it there would be white smoke but then it would go away. my return line was crimped a little.

sorry not really mechanically minded person </TD></TR></TABLE>
The oil return is where the turbo drains the oil back into the oil pan.
They are saying to check that and see if there is a rescrition in the line that could be cause the oil to back up.
Yes a leak down can tell you quite a few things about the motor including where the motor is leaking from if it's leaking

Re: (Cyber ITR)
bump
i started up the car and the white smoke doesnt have that sweet-coolant-burning smell
im really confused
when i washed the engine bay i sprayed degreaser all over the place, would it be some unwashed degreaser burning off ?? dont think so

Have the exact same problem. My oil drain is fine and I am not losing any coolant either, we're in the same boat
The funny thing is, I also degreased my engine bay not too long ago Smoke was present before though so yea that can't be it. Bump for some more opinions!
