WTF fried 2 ecus(q31) trying to run neptune. what am i doing wrong? pics inside
i fried 2 ecus tonight, same spot. what am i doing wrong, short to ground somewhere? both times it fried q31. when i put the second ecu in, all i did was plug it in and turned the key to one when it started smoking. at the time i had the usb cable, data cable, and 28 pin ribbon connected to the rtp board.


ummmm is that the IAT piece? i had that problem and the plugs on my IAT and IACV were switched around on the engine harness

is there a diagram somewhere to show which pins on the harness are what? i thought hondata had one, but i cannot find one on there website

u need to go out to ur car and look at the engine harness and tell us the colors of the wiring, that will determine if anything is switched around
