You don't need these in a DD. The beauty of VTEC is that you don't need to run around on huge lobes.

For racing purposes only are these cams to be used.


They do sound awesome though

Just wondering...do you want to run these cams because of the name?

You will make more power with other, newer tech cams like Skunk2 Pro series, BC 4 or BC 5, Rocket M24X/M25X...etc

The real benefit of running these cams is the loss of rotational weight by removing parts of your valvetrain and motion assembly. Makes sustained high RPM use on the track more reliable...these aren't ideal for drag racing because they don't make gobs of power.

They sound okay..

That is, if you like your Honda motor's to sound like a smallblock Chevy V8 and almost bog out and die during idle.

i got some crower 404's similar to an itr profile in my non-vtec. sounds like a mini v-8 if that counts
