Its been raining like crazy here the last two days. I drove my car today And my left foot got soaked. I pulled over and looked under the dash and saw water running out of my fuse panel. I just bought this crx and have never had this problem before. This is the first time it has rained since I bought it. I also just replaced the windshield, so I don't know if it leaked before the windshield was replaced. It started making a noise when I got home like it was shorting out so I unhooked the battery. I really need to fix this leak. Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks in advance.
does car have a sunroof? if so try cleaning out the drain tubes...tryy searching...i posted some water leak question few weeks ago....and eeryone flamed me but to my knowledge...if u have a sunroof...the drain tubes are a major problem when leaks occur inside and under dash...i had to clean the tubes on passenger side
When that happened to me, it was becasuse the windshield was leaking... maybe the new windshield isnt sitting properly? I had a new one installed and my leak (which was TERRIBLE!) was gone.

First off I tried searching. Everyones problems are normally the sunroof drains, hatch struts, or tail lights. Mine is under the drivers side dash. It is definatly not the drains. I am in the process of spraying my car down with a hose to try and find the leak, but it only leaks when i'm driving so that is kind of hard to do.

dude you think thats bad? my old hatch used to leak on the driversidepassenger side and every corner in the rear lol...i swear my spare tire compartment would pool up when it rained hard and i had to keep my ecu elevated off the ground...lol its an old car **** happens...
my guess would be your windshield or the hole that leads the harness out to the fenders

hey man i'm not trying to yell at u or anything...its just i know ppl responses will be to search..im trying to help...
if u think its not the drains...try checking the windshield seal..or if there is any cracks at the corner....i know my windshield has a very very tiny crack at the lower corner...i used a hose and checked everywhere...and couldn't see it until..my friend hosed that corner and i watched under the dash with the carpet almost removed to see where it was leaking

does your car have a/c? I had a friend who just got his a/c fixed, and some hoes was backed up and wa leaking water from under the dash (like a pipe) mostly comes out when he turns a corner. if thats happenening too you check your a/c hoeses . . .
same as my windshield, the bottom corners of the windshield were not sealed properly.
try to put a little pressure on the bottom corner (one at a time of course) with your hand and see if it lifts at all. of course dont rip it up or anything, just see if its loose. also try to spray water on it with a hose while the dash it out and look to see where its coming in. i did this by going through a pay car wash deal. you know the type, touchless... good luck man i hate leaks, worst car problem imo.

I'm gonna hose it down tomorrow. I know that the water is coming in the fresh air vent and going through the air duct. Then it comes out the air duck where it connects above the fuse panel. I just gotta figure out why it is coming into the air duct.

Bro i think that its the new windshield, its gotta be, because even if its the first time its rained since you've had the car and you notice the leak, the old windshield might have been the better one, i'd take it to get checked out where they put the new one in. I go with you to check it out, or just drop by the pad and we'll test it.
