Hi,

My accord coupe's radio light went out on me. What is the problem. Do I need to replace the radio or something? The radio works, it has power, the only thing it doesn't have is the light, the lighting is also out for the button panels (AC, Defroster, etc...). I bought the car brand new and it has 78,000 miles now. Any information is appreciated. Thank you

take it by the dealer and they will replace the audio unit for free. It's been a big problem with them and Honda has covered every one of them that I've come across.

 

i called my honda dealer
they said it is not covered by the warranty of 3 yrs or 36,000 miles
my car has 78,000 miles
i guess i am out of luck

Call American Honda or call back to the dealer and ask to speak with (or get the number of) the Honda district manager. They will cover it for you
