My Car Shits Probs in the Winter Time
ok so...this happened last year, but it wasnt really a concern for me until now since i'm tryin to offload my car via trade/sell...
so yea, my driverside front wheel well chatters whenever i go over bumps...small bumps, medium bumps, big bumps...it sounds like sound popcorn makes when its popping. and the noise is temperature related...never makes it during the summer time, and as it get colder out, the noise presents itself more and more.
it only chatters when its below 50 degrees outside....
...the warmer it is outside, the less it makes the noise...so if its say 45 degrees outside, i start driving, it'll gradually go away after about 30 mins of driving. and the colder it is outside, the longer it takes to go away as i drive.
i'm thinkin its my sway bar end links on that side...
someone suggested that i be my balljoint...but that whole assembly with the control arm was replaced over the summer...and even before that was replaced, it made the noise last winter time
any ideas?

How much did you pay to have the control arm replaced? Which was it, the upper or lower, or both? I bent mine on a curb two years ago and now I have to replace that tire every 6 months due to abnormal wear...
i forgot exactly how much it was...but it isnt really a pocket killer. and it was the upper arm...i should have replaced it myself, but i never have replaced one before and workin 7 days a week didnt allot much time for me to try it
why dont u just get ur control arms replaced instead of havin to dish out on new tires all the time
