Alright, I have a 97 Civic and my headlights are turning yellow from corrossion or something. Anyone know how to clean them? I see just about every 6th gen civic with the same problem. Please let me know, thanks.

Meguiars Clay-Bar will solve all your problems. Or extreemly fine sandpaper.

Very fine sand paper! I've never had messed-up headlights, but i've been told the clay-bar works. I took some overspray off my headlights once by using 900 grit sandpaper, there was no problem at all, they looked brand new when I got done.

Easiest and cleanest way is to get new ones. (not very cost effective huh?)

The clay bar will take off overspray and industrial fallout (black specs from pollution), but if that doesn't work for you, try Meguiar's plastic polish. I used it on my friends 93 Integra when he got some old one-piece headlights, one of them was yellow/discolored, so I used the clay bar, followed by the polish, and got them looking new again. good luck

Okay if you have haze try using a chemical plastic polisher, there is a brand called Plexus you can buy from home depot for 5 bucks. it is designed for aircraft, military, and spaceflight acrylics.

next if you have deeper scratches use a acrylic polishing kit with retails for about 23 bucks, this kit will include about 8-10 different grits of WET sandpaper, a foam sanding/polishing block, and a non abrasive non petroleum based polish. remember to use water and soap with the sand paper! this kit allows you to choose and measure your scratches and polish to a complete crystal shine.

This item can be purchased at any high end tropical fish store (they use a lot of acrylic tanks) here is a link for a online vendor http://www.drsfostersmith.com/shop2/...89450&siteid=6

with both these methods and just normal up keep use the Plexus spray or another product called "Kleenmaster Brillianize" Brillianize cleans, polishes, and glazes and is a great product. http://www.brillianize.com

good luck!
