i think they max out just right at 300....if u havent bought injectors yet, get some 750cc since they are all about the same price nowadays

I made 370whp 280ftlbs @ 11psi w/ my CRVtec w/ 440's

Walbro255

Base Rail PSI : 90psi
Final Rail PSI : 101psi
Duty Cycle: 95%
AFR tune: 11.8:1

440's @ 80% duty cycle @ 43.5psi BASE psi is good for : 220-235whp

440's @ 80% duty cycle @ 60psi BASE psi is good for : 255-280whp

Keep in mind that your fuel pressure regulator is a 1:1 so depending on boost pressure your Base pressure will incease.

Example, Base is 43.5psi and your running 12psi of boost. Your now runnin about 55.5psi of rail pressure. Same thing w./ 60psi base would end up being 72psi, total.

I wouldnt go for 440's, The 550's could keep a decent duty cycle but at a higher rail pressure. Wich can be a good thing if not too high or a bad thing if "too" high.

The higher your fuel pressure the cleaner your combustion and more complete it will become. You'll notice better gas milage, less soot build up and possible to make a more efficent motor all round. I personaly think the most rail pressure you want to see is 120psi as a final PSI. This means keeping your base at a 90psi should be plenty to keep your final at or below 120psi.

If you try to run "too much" pressure you can wear your pump out quick and/or cause the fuel to cavitate. This can cause the fuel to seperate and cause gas bubbles to form, causing sudden pressure drops in the rail and fuel starvation.

I personaly ran a pump for 2 1/2 years on a base of 80psi running 20-25psi daily with no problems with pump failure or fuel cavitating.

your stock regulator is a 1:1. The factory regulator also increase fuel pressure in proportion to the boost pressure increase. If you are running 16.5psi of boost pressure, the fuel pressure will rise to 60psi to maintain the same differential fuel pressure of 43.5psi (60.0-16.5=43.5). But yes, your factory regulator works as a 1:1 and will increase return line resistance as boost levels increase.

Btw I already have the 440cc inj that's why I ask cuz I don't want to buy another injector again so how about if my goal is around 330 hp so that mean my 440cc is ok as long as I have a aftermarket fpr or what ?

Thanks a lot for all the input

I think 330 is doable but 350+ is going to be pushing the limits as I have already tried this route before. lol

Just to muddy the waters, I use 440's on my hondav6, dyno'd at 464whp. I have 60 psi fuel pressure wot at 10 lbs boost, the duty cycle is about 65%. Walbro in the tank, aeromotive 1:1 reg. I'd listen to these guys though as they know the ropes on the 4bangers and what works best.

yup, you have 440's but you also have 2 extra 440cc injectors to support your power.

a 440cc 4 cylinder has a total of 1760cc's to support x amount of power

a 440cc 6 cylinder has a total of 2640cc's to support x amount of power

Sell the 440's and get at least 550cc injectors (if not bigger) and buy a Walbro 255 and your good to go. With the base fuel pressure at 42psi you will get about 300whp or a little more out of the 440cc injectors, but they will be completely maxed out.

Leaving room for upgrade is always a good idea and the 440-750cc RC injectors are all about the same price anyways.

It's really not worth blowing your engine for to save $300. Just get some 750's. If you want to take the maxxed out 440cc/min route then enjoy, but I hope you have a backup swap.

you can go as big as you want its just the duty cycle you run them at so i would just go with 1600cc because at least you wont have to buy injectors for a while
