help! high idle and other issues
Throw out the gasket that goes between tb and IM and use liquid gasket. Refund that sk2 tb cause they will alway stick, made for racing where idle is left high, and port out your stock or get yourself a JG. Now your problem with the obd1 ecu where the car accel and decels when your on throttle, easy fix. Just reset ecu, if you know how, when the engine is cold. Engine must be cold. Just pull fuses or battery cable for a minute. Plug back and start car (dont touch gas pedal). Car will idle funny until normal operating temperature is reached ( about 5 minutes) then idle will drop back down to normal 700-800 (leave for a minute of two). ( dont touch throttle when ecu is re-writing itself) Now shut off car and start back up and good to go. No more ghost riding the whip.

its somthin very simple but i didn't see anywhere if you tried the idle adjustment screw on the tb...
also your problems with the obd1 ecu are more than likely being caused by the fact that it is chipped.....not that chipping it is a bad thing but if its not tuned that could explain your idle problems... crome has boxes to input high and low idle correct??? if you have access to a wideband i would try that...... because if it hasn't been tuned ur AF ratios and timing a likely very far off and this would explain everything from the weird idle to the jerkin in accelerating
