well i was putting my hondata stage 2b in and installing the rc 440 cc injectors. everything went smooth until i went to plug in the injectors. the grey plastic doesnt slide on. i have an obd1 (94' gsr motor) so i thought i didnt have to buy the clips?

anyone have this problem? the injectors say "RC SL4-440"

you have to get a knife or razor blade and cut out the little center tab on the injector to get the stock clips to fit on.

 

the center tab on the inside (by the little metal plugs) ? jeez i always heard of the o-rings not fitting but never this

so an exacto would do the trick? dustin, i hope your right man, cause if i carve these babies out then i have to return em, im sending you the bill!

well dustin WAS RIGHT! just finished taking her out for a ride and i must say steve from sgt-racing gave me a kick *** base program in all the time ive spent here ive never seen anyone post they had to shave the center tab, glad dustin was up late to help me out. a true car nut speaking of which it's nearly 4:30 am and i just finished working on the car,now i can't go to sleep cause of the excitement!

 

whos steve and how much did you pay for you hondata+injector setup? can i get his website or something Im about to order my hondata stuff. thanks man

 

Yep, just installed my 550's yesterday. I had to do the same exact thing

well i bought my rc's from ben at importparts.com for $285, steve a.k.a sgt (sgt-racing) sold me the hondata for $550 both these prices were from a groupbuy.
