Here's what I've heard: Turbo's cracking in half, wastegate falls off, manis crack(but are getting better), turbo fins falling apart. But there are people out there that have had no problem with these kits. If you plan on running anything over 6-8psi, it will eventually fall apart from what I've seen. But again there are a lot of people out there that are running 6psi and are fine. So just peice together your turbo kit, and don't waist your money. Always buy proven parts, or parts that can't be screwed up in china.

there is a jerkoff around my way that just trapped 132mph in the quarter on an SS auto manny...... I am so against the parts they sell but you gotta 50/50 shot of them falling apart, the turbo's fall to pieces and sometimes they send wastegates with springs that are double the size you asked for and instead of running 7lb you end up runing 14lb and boom goes the motor

I love how people continually bash SS autochrome even though they have little to no experience with them. These are the smart ones you need to listen to, always ask people with little to no experience with somethin if its good or not for an effective answer.

Anyways, all I have ever used is ss autochrome and so has my neighbor, we have only encountered 1 minor problem with thier stuff ( small oil leak from comp. outlet) For the price, no one comes close to even touching their stuff, not even anywhere near it. Although it may not produce the same numbers as a true garret turbo, if you do the math its more cost effective to at least try ss autochrome.

12,200 miles on my ss autochrome setup and still going strong. 4400 miles on my neighbors setup and still no problems. these cars are beaten the crap out of every single day.

You get what you pay for. Just use the "Search" feature in the top right corner and search ss autochrome and you will see about a million topics on it and their quality.

No offence to you...... but it is people like you that keep scab booger diarreah companies like SS Auto, XS Power & Stone Mountain in business to continue to rip off unsuspecting ebayers with garbage products. People see a turbo kit for 3k and a kit for under 800 and they go...hey, everything looks good so it must be good......but a girl with AIDS may also looks good but would you want it??????

Do not use that wastegate!!!!! I am building an engine for one of my customers now because of that ****. The wastegate stuck, and he overboosted. He thought he could save a couple of bucks and bought SSautocrome manifold and wastegage and it ended up costing him quite a bit. As a side not I recomended him not to get it.

Only thing that seems to work is the intercooler ( only for small boosting though )
