Searching for different kits. Can i get your opinions on this kit please.
Ok people... I am now begining to investigate where i can get a decent turbo kit for a decent price for my 93eg hatch B16a2... This will be going on a completly stock motor, but already have catback exahust sorted.
Kits here in the UK are going for £2500-3000 for a basic kit thats like $5000!!! Everything here is so much more expensive!!!
Anyway... i have been told to stay away from ebay cheap kits... But i found this one kit which is $1700.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...%3AIT
it looks quite reliable to me as it has gd quality turbo (turbonetics). Pleas give me your input on this kit and whcih parts are just not reliable.
I have decided to go for a kit rather than piece a kit together because there are also so many little bits to get together otehr than the manifold, turbo, wastegate, intercooler and piping etc......
Also i think i want to install a 3" downpipe... i read a threat about whether to use 3 or 2.5" and i want to go with 3" as i dont have aircon... Also would this kit allow me to keep the powersteering and original radiator?
I was reccomended on running 440cc injectors, but i am not familiar with makes etc... and would this require me to run a differnt fuel pump? and you chuck some names you would reccomend my way please.
THANKS A LOT!!!

Re: (J1A1H)
also too bad hes not a real turbonetics dealer and also doesnt sell turbonetics turbos. tehy're remanufactured down2turbo units. you can tell cuz he uses the mercades t3 turbine flange. no one uses that except down2turbo.jonestangs. and MJMAUTO where they get them rebuilt ( ive had their turbos go out 5 times on me. ill never buy a rebuilt again). then agin they could be real turbonetics. i just have seen other stuff from him taht says it isnt.
plus i know his fmic pipign kits etcc are nto turbonetics they're stuff he gets made overseas.
ive had a customer send me his manifold an the casting was horrible cuz it came with a hole in the casting that i had to weld.

that one does look ok, but i wouldn't do it. i rather go with ssac, so i know it'll blow and be ready for it

it may be hard to get akit at that price. now if you put together your own, it may be more cost effective. go to importparts.com and put together a kit and see what it comes up to.

there is the good old drag kit for 2799.00 but there is no room for growth with that kit because if the limitation of the manifold. looking 4000.00 +- for a full race kit, about 3000.00 +- for a greddy kit.

If your looking for a good turbo kit try http://www.inlinepro.com the turbo kits here offer you one of the best quality money can buy and are proven for reliability. The kits include a cast stainless steel manifold (lifetime warranty) a precision turbo of your choice, 600hp intercooler aluminum charge pipes(bead rolled ends), polished stainless steel down pipe and dump tube, oil feed and oil return line kits (steel braided), turbosmart wastegate, bov, vortec FMU, map defenser, all necessary hardware, couplers, and clamps ect.
We carry fuel injectors, injector clips, and hondata. We also carry thicker headgaskets to lower compression and offer block sleeving and engine building in house. The web site has retail pricing but if you call just mention that you were referred by me on HT and you will receive discounts. any questions just im me. By the way my opinion on the kit your looking at is you get what you pay for.
