Default D16z6 (Should i keep or swap)

I have a 95 Honda Civic SOHC V-tec. I want to know if i should build my 1.6 litre up or find a DOHC motor off ebay. And if I were to build my motor up, where would I start. Keep in mind I want to go all motor. (Turbo might be in mind depending on my modifications)

From the VW camp I'm guessing?

What kind of money do you want to spend....?

More importantly, what kind of performance figures are you looking for?

VW ? Im not worried about money. Right now I have CAi (Cold Air Intake) DC Sports Header. And Full Exhaust. Then the short shifter and all that. But im looking on what i should do. Rebuild bottom and top ends. Maybe get the bottom end forged for nitrous. I want to at least get a 10. to 1. compression ratio so i can run Methynol-Alc Mix at the strip and on the street alittle.i just need help with the top end part and some flywheel and clutch info. Maybe

Staying with the SOHC is fine and it will be cheaper to build up the SOHC plus i know some people who raced some guys with DOHC and they had a SOHC and beat them so but ya what kinda money u looking to spend?
