I have a drivers side recaro srd. much better than the stock ITR seat, in my opinion. sorta a tight fit at first, but you get used to it after a few days. Now I wouldn't have it any other way. only downside of this seat is the fabric. very difficult to clean the lint/cat hair from it. lint sort of weaves itself into the fabric making vacuuming useless. only way I've found to get the stubborn pieces off is by picking them out using my fingertips.

other than that, I can't see spending the extra money on jdm's.

Have any pics? I'm wondering how well it will match the ITR interior...

sorry, no. I've gotta stop spending money on the car and buy a digital camera.

I've had the black and red us Srd's. I actually like the black material a lot better, its not like a felt feel like the red ones. I have red ones now and they are nice as well, I just liked how they look in a black car. Both are very comfortable. I've sat in other seats like the Corbeau's and Sparco's and I like the Srd's the best.

Thanks for the pics

When you order the seats can you request the sixe of the "RECARO", yours seems smaller than I have seen...

yeah, what's up with that? my lettering is larger than what you have on your car... wish it wasn't. didn't know it was an option

you can order it as an option. mine does. also as an option is an inflatable lumbar bladder that is postioned behind the lower back area. makes the seat conform to your lower back for support. I've got this, too.

should run about 600-700 each, delivered. check the best buy forum or email me and I can let you know who I bought from.

the side thigh bolstering might be a bit different. the USDM ones are a bit roomier than the JDM ones, from what I've heard. can't confirm, though.

I've been looking to buy these seats too or the Bride seats. I've sat in the US SRD and they felt pretty good. What I've heard is that the JDM SRD is narrower, a comparison made was the US SRD is like the Torinos and the JDM SRD is like the Milanos. I've seen the JDM SRD in person but never got to sit in it but the fabric is better than the US one. But for the price, the US one isn't bad at all. I just want to see the Bride seats in person now...yes I am very indecisive.

for the record, theres no such thing as "jdm srd".. its called the sr-II. they are infact slimmer because they were designed for the japanese body.
theres other minor differences like the fabric and the position/size of "recaro"

The seat have 3 height level when mouting on to the rail. I traded my R seat plus some cash. I prefer the cloth of the R but you can't have it all if you dont have the green.

Don't you hit your head on that very hard looking plastic in the headrest?
