I am looking for some Black JDM recaros... Must be used, but excellent condition. No rips, tears, stains, etc. Bolsters must be perfect, or at least not worn down... Let me know if you're in the Bay Area and have some for sale. Need them ASAP! Thanks!

U can usualy find a nice set for about 2000 to 2500 a pair. brand new they are about 2000 each

 

Damn that's spendy, does anyone have any experience/pics of the black Reacaro SRDs? Hows the fabric on those, and how well do they match?

Saw yellow in person... Ugly... I really wanted them at first, but then realized: A) $4000 for seats is INSANE, B) They don't look as good in person, C) I like the black and red stock interior colors.

Would getting JDM seats lower the value if you try to sell it?

Anything you do to the car that is not stock can lower the value.

 

I have a set of black ones that are like brand new. They still have the small round Honda stickers on them that they get in the factory. I just bought an S2000, so my GSR went back to stock, and the Recaros had to come out. I have pictures I can forward to you.

I have black Recaro SRDs. Quite a bit cheaper than the JDMs - about $1500 new with sliders and brackets for two. The actually look OEM when in the car - the fabric is similar to the door fabric.

Might be selling mine soon if anybody is interested. (Am in the Bay Area.)

Fabric is grippy, seats are snug and are very comfortable, even on very long drives. Much better than the stock seats. Very high build quality. I think they are a perfect compromise between a street and a bucket seat. Heavy though.

 

Thanks for the site and review. However, I was looking for pics of the seats in a Type R so that I can see how well it will match. Anyone have these?
