How to use an autometer tach as a VTEC controller?

Default How to use an autometer tach as a VTEC controller?

I know some people have used an Autometer tach with the built in adjustable
shift light to activate VTEC.
Any one here knows how to?

Doesn't it have to be a negative signal, I didn't think it was that simple.
