Default Impressive H22 All Motor Dyno *inside*

this is ACCORDM3s we just got done tuning his car. Ill let him speak up :
H22 Type-S pistons
Eagle Rods
Skunk2 Stage 2 camshafts/'valvetrain
RMF Header
Euro R manifold/TB
AEM EMS
Shitty exhaust

there is still more room for improvement, looks like i have some competition! He had a MUCH fatter powerband than my 2.0l B series, i got him on top end, and TQ, but his whp was much fatter across the RPMs than mine.

Would like to see this with the new PRO1 Skunk2 Cams for the H series, ill see if i can convince him

EDIT:dyno is in MPH because we kept losing tach signal for some reason. he has a faulty coolant temp sensor that kept making the EMS wig out. we were revving it to 8800rpms consistently. peak power was only at 8300 however

Is this the same engine that was posted earlier?:

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1534142

If so, you guys picked up a lot with tuning! What kind of ignition timing did you use? Also, I asked about the rods in the other thread too, but do you know what size the bolts were?

Looks like a nice build, thanks for posting it!

yeah same motor. It needs more tuning, with the VTEC dip and some other stuff. it had issues with his wiring on his EMS kept chasing coolant temp gremilins, and his igniiton timing was at 47 degrees at WOT

once we fixxed all that it started making good power. he needs a little more tuning to get it all worked out, but time was a factor yesterday.

more numbers coming soon

we did not build the motor so i have no idea what rods are in it or the size of the rod bolts. also this was through a crappy 2.25 crushed bent exhaust. we will be making him a custom 3in exhaust here soon

ouch!!!

3" should help allot.

PS- I had a similar dip with my Crower cams and we moved VTEC point up to 5800 and it was smooth as butter.
