Hi, i got this really awsome deal on this kit, i just wanted to know if anyone has heard good or bad things about it, i planning on running my engine stock with it for this year but, i'll keep the pressure low for now.

But what you guys think about it, it's going on a acura el (d16y8)

I think its a little over priced for the amount of power it would put out...

but its the only "COMPLETE" kit on the market that i know of... meaning, you dont need to buy anything unlike say the greddy kit etc

Why are people so iffy on this? Its one of the best if not THE best kit. And yet you trust the POS Greddy kit?! People would be all over this kit if it was badged as AEM, DC, or APC. Or if it was "JDM".

Edelbrock is pure quality, tested to fit and perform among the best.
I think it will make you very happy. Would love to get one myself.

I think that kit is perfect for a true daily driver Acura EL.

I wonder that myself. I really wanted to buy the B16 kit, but $$ was the issue. Not the brand.

Its a really nice kit but alittle pricey. Everyone loves the greddy kit and says its so complete, the greddy kit doesnt even have a BOV or intercooler. How the hell is that complete.

Pricey yes, but I believe it's cheaper than buying the same parts seperatly. BB turbo, Ni-resist manifold, TIAL BOV, bar and plate intercooler, Edlebrock intake manifold. It's good stuff.

Well, on a d16y8 like mine at 7psi of boost, it was tested at 176 horsepower and 147 ft/lbs of torque to the wheels, so that's pretty impressive, higher numbers that even a gsr motor witch puts out 170hp (jdm 178hp) at 128 ft/lbs of torque "to the motor" at peak point. Althought it's a higher reving motor.

Well the thing is i got a deal on it, im gettin it for half price 2500 canadian$ instead of 5g's retail, so that's why im interested, But im still unsure for some reasons.
