Default **Should I switch BOV'z?**

Hey guys, I plan to reinstall my kit soon and got to thinkin if I wanted to change my BOV too... Right now i got a TurboXS RFL .. Sounds koo ( its the WOOOSh.. rush of air sound ) but I was checkin out the Type RS BOV .... do any of you guys use a Type RS BOV... how is it... does it sound nice or should I just keep my RFL?

the rfl is a monster in tunnels. Atcually it's crazy outside too. and for those on the street that don't know what a BOV is the facial expressions are priceless

the RFL is the worse BOV imo. i had experince with two of them that both leaked boost. i would get the GREDDY RS if i were u

i have the greddy type rs and its the same sound as yours. it is just a loud rush of air. it reminds me of a wrx when it blows off

you do know the spring tension is adjustable right?? ive NEVER had an RFL leak on me. they always worked great.

stick with the rfl, then sound is much nicer than the RS

even with it adjust all the way down it still leaked boost

i dont think ive ever seen an rfl that didnt leak on a car thats actually making power. i gained 40 hp on a car by putting a tial bov on it....obviously because it would hold boost with the tial valve.

i dont use any bov's other than tial.

too tell you the truth.. its holdin up real nicely.... even the mani too.... well spoolinPerformance helped beef up the welds to make it more stronger...

&lt;--- RS here, great valve but i can't hear it because i put an air filter on the outlet. But the response is great, I had a Type S a few years ago...BTW that RS you have a pic of is fake.
