Default rsx wiring harness help

Ok so i got my hands on a Type S hu. Being a base owner im stoked since it didnt cost me a dime. Anyhoo, my aftermarket deck i did not like. I wasnt feeling the fitment, the colors, and the single disc. When i put in the after market hu i had to cut one wire outa the stock harness.

Now heres my dilemma. When i did this back in the day i didnt think about it and cut the wire real close to the wiring harness (if i have my terms correct). I need to get this little sucker out so i can re soder this wire and then reinstall it into the harness.

Do you need a special di pinning tool for it? I tried with a di pinning tool and it would not budge. I tried everything i could. I even had my friend whos a tech for benz take a crack at it and he couldnt get it out either. Is there something im missing? Any input would be appreciated.

they are really hard to get out. I wouldnt waste my time. Just go to best buy or circuit city and get a reverse harness. Just cut the wires and then connect them to new harness. I know its not what you had in mind but that what I would do.

not only does it need the factory type s amp but also the factory type s BOSE speakers. they MUST be ran together. the type S also has a factory sub in the wheel well it sits inside the spare tire.

Dont bother wasting you money, if the type S radio is an indash changer it will break eventually, in dash changers in general are notorious for breaking, that is why everyone in the aftermarket world stopped making them. besides who needs a 6 disc changer when you can have a radio that plays MP3 encoded CDs with 8-9 albums a piece or even hook an I-pod up to.

BOSE is ok for factory, but for the price you will pay for all the other bose components you can get a much better aftermarket system.

Damn best buy charges $18.50 for a reverse harness!?! we charge $15 at my work.

also, there is no need to cut a wire out of the factory harness in this car to install an aftermarket radio.
My friend has a 03 base RSX and I installed a sick system in it. 8" kicker SSMBs in the rear speaker locations and custom built wheel well enclosure for a 10" L5 with an amp rack next to the sub and a false floor over both.
