How to pull this pulley? Pic inside
It just needs to be broken loose and then it will slide off. What I would do is get a big socket or something like that and hammer it towards the engine just slightly until it breaks loose. Then it should pull off easier....

ditto. If that doesn't work, try heating it up...

make sure you get the keyway out first, then pull harder, it just looks rusted up. Mine was a bitch too. if you got it that far off its 90% there.
It slides freely towards block. I could slide it here and there. It just stops at the end of the crankshaft. Maybe some bearing puller will do the job?

yeah the end of the crank shaft gets gauled up alittle sometimes from the keyway and bolt.. it will come off just give it the good old heave ho..
pully puller/ bearing puller will do wonders as well

I finished a complete engine disassembly yesterday. Now I wait for the sleeving info (I have even asked here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1429923 before) from PrecisionH23. Darton doesn't answer my email
Next... I have some new internals ready to be installed but first the block and the head should be machined.
My rebuild progress can be found here: http://pentaq.w.interia.pl/H22.html. It's well pictured, so you don't have to understand what's written there

isee that you broke part of the casting, but i think you will be ok, the oil pan looks to still be able to seal, and there doesn't apear to be major damage to the oil pump. I think that lip that you broke off is just part for the timeing belt cover to hook on to.

You're right. It's the part with a timing cover mounting point. I think I have it welded.

just for futire reference on what I did (although it may not be in the best interest of the pump) was yanking the pump toward the sprocket and using that as one giant surface area to bang it off.
