DEI door lock relay (NEED HELP FAST)!!!!!
(I've posted this in security section too, but I need an answer fast)
This is on a '97 civic DX
How do I hook up the wires for the DEI door lock relay?
I've just installed the DEI door lock actuators and I already have a Clifford Matrix alarm.
the relay makes the right sound when doors are "locked" and "un-locked", but nothing happens.
This is how I hooked it up.
White and Gray wires are grounded
The two Purple wires go to (+)
Green and Blue go to the door lock actuators
The three-wire harness pluged into the "brain" module.
I need the car drivable for tomorrow and it's geting late

Thanks, I will look closer at that site as soon as I get of work.
I was planing on using two relays from the beginning, even bought a couple BOSH relays,
but then found an all in one DEI relay in my alarm kit and tried to use that (with no success).
Any Ideas how the DEI rely is supposed to be hooked up?
Otherwise I'll just go with the two BOSH relays.

FIXED IT
! ! ! !
It was a defective relay.
I checked all the wiring over and over and finally decided to take the relay apart.
One of the relay contacts was snapped off (missing), and didn't make contact with the circuit board.
I had to drill out a bigger hole in the circuit board, solder on a wire to what was remaining of the broken relay contact, and then filled in the hole with epoxy (to make it sturdier).
Now it works like a charm.
Thanks for every-ones help
