Default Door locks

I just put in a Clifford Arrow 5, in a 97 honda Civic. My problem is with the door lock actuators. I wired them as shown on the12volt.com for (three wire positive door locks), but when i hit the arm/dis arm button on the remote, nothing happens. Any suggestions? Does the brain need to be programed?

Your door locks are a 3wire negative system.
to trigger door locks you will need to send a neg.(-) pulse to the door lock leads
green/white lock and green/orange unlock at blue plug in drivers kick panel. 94

Sorry fcm, I failed to mention I added the the actuators (aftermarket). Do you have a pic of how the relays should be wired?

This probably doesn't matter but it is the late version of the Arrow 5 where the wires are green and blue.

The actuator wires will need to rest at ground. To lock or unlock, one of the two wires needs to recieve a positive pulse. Which is which depends on how the actuators are mounted.

The alarm will put out a negative pulse on the green wire when locking, and on the blue wire when unlocking. You need to get a 451M relay pack or make your own out of 2 relays. Alarm shops have tons of them laying around because many cars do not need them.

Hey, what do you know?! My website is good for something!

Your Arrow 5 has low current +/- door lock outputs, probably a 3 pin plug
Blue- (-) unlock (+) lock
Green- (-) lock (+) unlock
Red- power for relay coils

If you added actuators you will need to wire the relays like this... http://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page3.asp#arp Actuators/Reverse Polarity. 94
