I have a 90si Crx and my blower motor is dead. Can anyone explain to me in detail how to change it out?? I'm not a mechanical genius!!!

Is it the motor or the resistor? BTW it's behind your glovebox and a biatch to get out.

Thanks!! well i'll give it a shot tomorrow.... i'm here in cincy ohio and it's getting damn cold. The rex is my second car but I wanna be able to drive it this winter! So this blower motor is a bitch to get out huh??

 

I'm pretty sure it's the motor....if it's the resister where is it and how do I check it and replace it?

 

The resistor is behind the glove box,
Even if the resistor is bad,the motor will still run on high at position #4.

Check for voltage and ground at the plug..
Sometimes,you can tap on the bottom of the motor
and it will start running again..PS>Ignore the circle..

 

Thanks bro...from that pic it looks like I can take the blower motor out without taking out the whole casing...is this true or am i seeing things?

I hear that brother, just got back from bein outside for two hours tryin to fix tps and im ******* freezingggggggg and yea i have no heat either except for the floor heats, so is this my blower motor to ?

 

Hey bro you from cincy...i live in nky...but grew up in cincy in anderson twp on the east side!

 

that thing is a pain in the *** to get out. you can do it without pulling everything out though. The fan part is very pliable. You will only be able to get 2 of the 3 screws in if you do it that way. Good luck!!
