Default ECU PROBLEM (ECU GURUS HELP HELP HELP)

Well this morning I had to get gas...
I was nearly empty...Got in the car and like always I primed the lines (fuel lines)
but this time i heard something weird...like a hollow pop sound
(empty gas tank) i thought...i proceeded to turn the car on...it fired up
after 30sec's the car just died...then there was a burnt smell...

Well I dont know if this type of **** happens when you get an EMPTY GAS TANK
IF NOT can someone tell me what caused this...???
Can someone Identify what blew? TIA...

Here are the pics...

THE DAMAGE

This is the second time this happens by the way...
Same way (on nearly empty gas tank)
(first time on my P28 and now on my P06) (the p06 was virgin)
I used this ecu to get around since my P28 was GONE!

Prior to this the only check engine light that I had was the 02 sensor
which was going to be replaced soon...

There might be a short somewhere that is burning up ur ecu. I would check the main relay and the fuel pump....
